1. Medaram Maha Jatara – A Historic Transformation
The government invested over ₹251 crore in permanent infrastructure for the Medaram tribal festival (Asia's largest tribal gathering, held once every two years), completing all works in just 90 days.
Key Infrastructure Upgrades:
- Permanent Stone Gaddelu (Pedestals): Built using traditional methods to last centuries, decorated with engravings depicting tribal history and lifestyle.
- Welcome Arches & Buildings: Constructed as per tribal priest guidelines.
- Devotee Facilities: 1,418 acres for vehicle parking, special bus services, police control rooms, drinking water, medical camps, and sanitation.
- Jampanna Vagh: Devotees performed holy dips in large numbers as per tradition.
Historic Firsts:
- Cabinet Meeting at Medaram: For the first time in Telangana's history, a full cabinet meeting was held outside Hyderabad – at Medaram itself.

2. Davos (WEF 2026) – Telangana's Global Investment Blitz

3. Telangana Rising 2047 Vision – Legislative Debate & Strategy
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka presented the "Telangana Rising 2047" vision document in the State Legislative Assembly.

4. HILT Policy – Land Transformation & Record Revenue
The Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation (HILT) Policy was debated in the Assembly, with Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka defending its transparency and environmental benefits.
Revenue Impact:
- Without HILT: ₹12 lakh per acre.
- With HILT: ₹7 crore per acre.
- Additional revenue to state treasury: ₹10,776 crore (compared to ₹574 crore under the old policy).

5. Municipal Elections – Schedule & Arrangements
The State Election Commission announced the schedule for municipal elections.

State Election Commissioner Raji Kumudini requested voters to turn out in large numbers:

6. Republic Day – Governor's Address
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma hoisted the national flag at Parade Ground, Hyderabad, and praised the government's two-year performance.

- Fine Rice: Supplied to 1.03 crore families (3.34 crore people); also to 35,700 anganwadi centres.

7. Education – Young India Integrated Residential Schools
CM Revanth Reddy reviewed the education department and issued several directives.
Young India Integrated Residential Schools:
- First phase priority: Girls to get more seats.
- Target: Each constituency to have one school for boys and one for girls within three years.
- If a constituency gets girls' schools in phase one, it will get boys' schools in phase two.
Mid-Day Meal & Breakfast Scheme:
- Breakfast scheme to be expanded from Kodangal pilot to statewide (Classes 1–10).
- Akshaya Patra Foundation ready to implement if land and support are provided.
- Centralised kitchens for every two constituencies (2 acres land per kitchen).
Infrastructure:
- 23 new school buildings in Greater Hyderabad by next academic year.
- Minimum one acre of land for each school (issue flagged at Bachupally).
Curriculum & Skills:
- Curriculum revision for Classes 1–10 to meet present and future needs.
- Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women's University to be expedited.
- Polytechnics to introduce new courses in partnership with Tata Technologies.
- Every student from Young India Skills University and polytechnics must get a guaranteed job.
8. Electricity Reforms – "Power Ambulance" & Farmer Connections
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka responded to questions on the power sector in the Legislative Council.
Farmer Power Connections:
- 3,44,462 farmers given new connections (January 2022 – December 2025).
- 75,686 new transformers installed.
- Another 9,700 farmers to get connections once line work is completed.
- In just two years (2024–2025), 2 lakh additional connections provided.
"Power Ambulance" (108 Model):
- Mobile unit with transformer, CCTV, live-line tools, and a crew of one engineer and two technicians.
- Responds to complaints on 1912 toll-free number within hours.
No Shortages:
- No shortage of transformers, poles, or wires anywhere in the state.
- Under the "Praja Bata" program, officials spend three days a week in fields to straighten bent poles and fix sagging wires.
Deputy CM's Assurance:
"If any member gives a written complaint, I will resolve it within 24 hours."
9. Irrigation – Munneru-Paleru Link Canal
The government sanctioned ₹162.54 crore for the Munneru-Paleru link canal, a gravity-based project.
Technical Specifications:
- Length: 9.6 km (gravity canal)
- Capacity: 4,500 cusecs
- Source: Munneru river near Mulsoor village (Mahbubabad district)
Benefits:
- 1.38 lakh acres under Nagarjuna Sagar Left Canal command (Khammam district).
- 40,000 acres under Paleru reservoir (Khammam & Suryapet districts).
- 76,308 acres under SRSP Phase II (Khareef) – additional water.

10. Adilabad & Nirmal Development – CM's Public Meetings
CM Revanth Reddy addressed public meetings in Nirmal and Adilabad as part of the "Praja Palana – Pragati Bata" program.
University for Adilabad:
- CM appealed to local leaders to agree on a single location for the university.
- Suggested the Basar IIT campus as a possible site.
Tamimmidimatli Project:
- CM requested a complete report before the budget session from Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy.
- The project is critical for irrigating Adilabad district.
Airport & Industrial Estate:
- Adilabad Airport – CM announced plans to operate flights.
- Large industrial estate – 10,000+ acres to be acquired for industrial development.
Chanaka-Korata Lift:
- CM inaugurated the lift scheme.

11. Welfare for Government Employees, Disabled, & Elderly
Accident Insurance for Employees:
- ₹1.02 crore accident insurance for all 5.14 lakh government employees.
- Already implemented in Singareni (38,000 employees) and power utilities (71,387 employees).
- Discussions with major bankers completed.
Disabled Welfare:
- ₹50 crore allocated in a single financial year.
- ₹43.22 crore spent on 7,000 devices: tricycles, wheelchairs, motorized vehicles, battery-operated bicycles, battery wheelchairs, laptops, mobile phones, hearing aids.
- Marriage incentive increased from ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh for disabled couples.
- 37 "Pranam De Care Centres" established across the state for elderly care (meals, recreation, security).
Minister Adduri Lakshman Kumar's Statement:
"This government is not limited to paper schemes. These are living proof of welfare reaching the grassroots."
12. Healthcare – New Equipment & Infrastructure
Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha announced major upgrades to government hospitals.
New Equipment:
- 490 additional ventilators (125 for NIMS alone).
- 9 new MRI machines for government hospitals (currently only Gandhi, Osmania, Adilabad, and MGM have them).
- 79 new ambulances – emergency response time will reduce from 13 minutes to 10 minutes.
- 16 new dialysis centres + 100+ additional dialysis machines.
Medicine Supply:
- Primary health centres will now receive medicines directly from the Central Medical Services Station (not through intermediaries), ending shortages.
Minister's Statement:
"NIMS is getting patients beyond its capacity. We are adding 125 ventilators there and recruiting 850 new doctors."
13. Hot Air Balloon Festival
The tourism department organized a first-of-its-kind international hot air balloon and kite festival at Gachibowli Stadium.

GST (Amendment) Bill 2026:

- ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol) for liquor exempted from GST.
- Provision to reclassify cases between "fraud" and "genuine mistake".

A new prehistoric rock art site with red ochre paintings from the Mesolithic or early Neolithic period has been discovered near Palwancha in Bhadradri Kothagudem district.
