New Government Schemes

The Telangana government has launched the "Rythu Bharosa" scheme to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, each farmer will receive ₹10,000 per acre per year. The scheme aims to benefit over 60 lakh farmers in the state.

Recent Appointments

Ms. Anitha Sharma has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Telangana. She is the first woman to hold this position in the state. Previously, she served as the Principal Secretary of the Education Department.
